Try these recipes and introduce them on a healthy diet little by little.
Parmesan chicken
Ingredients:
- 6 skinless, boneless chicken breasts.
- Parmesan cheese.
- Basil.
- 4 tomatoes.
- Low-fat mayonnaise
- Olive oil.
- Breadcrumbs.
- Garlic.
- Salt.
- Black pepper.
- Garlic powder.
- Onion powder.
- Oregano powder.
Preparation:
For the sauce:
- Smash the tomatoes and 2 cloves of garlic.
- Cut some basil leaves finely.
- Add the smashed tomatoes and garlic with the chopped basil leaves.
- After 2 minutes approximately, add 1 cup of water and mix for at least 8 minutes.
- Let it cool.
- In a bowl, add 1 cup of mayonnaise, the tomato sauce, a pinch of black pepper, ½ cup of shredded parmesan cheese, garlic and onion powder.
- Mix everything and let it rest.
For the chicken preparation:
- Cut the chicken breasts in fine fillets.
- Put the chicken breasts in a baking tray and add the mix you prepared before.
- Add a pinch of oregano powder.
- Cover every piece with breadcrumbs.
- Bake at a temperature of 350 F for 25 minutes approximately.
Frozen yogurt
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of plain yogurt.
- 1 cup of fruit.
- Honey.
- Ice cream molds.
Preparation:
- Add ½ cup of honey and the cup of fruit to a food processor.
- Then, in a bowl, mix the fruits and honey with the yogurt.
- When well mixed, fill the ice cream molds and freeze them for at least 4 hours.
Banana pancakes
Ingredients:
- 2 large eggs.
- 1 ripe medium banana.
Preparation:
- Add the banana and the eggs to a blender and mix until very smooth.
- Pour a little bit of the mixture in a skillet and cook for around 1 minute.
- Flip and cook for another minute.
- Serve with fruits or plain yogurt if you want.
Pita bread pizza
Ingredients:
- Pita bread
- 1/2 onion.
- 2 tomatoes.
- Parmesan cheese.
- Olive oil.
- Water.
- Garlic.
- Salt.
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar.
- Bell pepper.
- 4 mushrooms.
- ½ Carrot.
Preparation:
For the sauce:
- Smash the tomatoes and 2 cloves of garlic.
- Cut the onion in small cubes.
- Cut the basil leaves finely.
- In a cooking pot add a little bit of olive oil and the onion cubes. Cook them until golden brown.
- Add the smashed tomatoes and garlic with the chopped basil leaves.
- Add the brown sugar and a pinch of salt.
- After 2 minutes approximately, add 1 cup of water and mix for at least 5 minutes.
For the pizza:
- Preheat oven to 375 F.
- Chop the bell pepper, the mushrooms and the carrot in fine slices.
- Cover the Pita bread with the sauce, then cover with shredded parmesan cheese.
- Add the chopped veggies.
- Bake for around 15 minutes.
